I read everything everyday and I don't post much on any website. For those of you that know me, I am from Pittsburgh, born and raised.  Brookline, to be a matter of fact.  I watched the Pitt game tonight with twenty bucks riding on it.  I have a neighbor who is in the Army and is a North Carolina fan.  It was a good game, but I was excited for the future.  Dion Lewis is a beast and next year he will not be stopped.  Hopefully Sunserri and / or Bostick will come to play and be ready to go. Either way I am happy!!
I have been reading about the Pirates and what a disappointment.  What is hard to explain is why is still read about their every move.  I can't explain it, except to say that I am addicted to baseball.  I want them to do well so bad just so I can say my seventeen years of losing was worth the wait.  I think that growing up with baseball made me this way and there aren't too many of us left.
There are a lot of passionate Steelers fans though.  Now that the Pitt game is over I can't wait for the Baltimore game tomorrow.  I've been stoked since earlier today and hope they make the playoffs. I can't imagine a better scenario than the Steelers winning another SB after being a wild card. It is a little bit sad that my life revolves around sports but on the bright side i'VE already started brainwashing my children to root for Pitt and the Steelers.  My three year old walks around the house singing, "here we go steelers, here we go." I'm so proud.
I had some thoughts on the Pens as well, but I've drank too much beer to make anything else relevant.  I hope all had a Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year.

About Everything Burgh
I have a great love for all sports Pittsburgh. I grew up in Pittsburgh in a little neighborhood called Brookline. I unfortunately moved away from home quite a number of years ago to join the Navy. I'm currently stationed in the land of flowing beer, other wise known as Germany. Living and visiting all over the world has given me a better understanding of how great the city is, how great the people of Pittsburgh are, and the sports teams.
